Colonial Life customers give positive ratings for service in 2013

Plan administrators are pleased with company’s products and services

COLUMBIA, S.C. (June 4, 2014) — Results from an independent customer satisfaction survey show Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company’s plan administrators are pleased with the service they receive.

Annual survey results from a random sampling of Colonial Life plan administrators in 2013 revealed that 96 percent are likely to recommend Colonial Life and 98 percent are likely to continue offering Colonial Life products.

In addition, plan administrators gave positive ratings to Colonial Life in the following areas: 

  • 99 percent — for ease of use of online services.
  • 97 percent — for ease of submitting billing changes.
  • 94 percent — for thorough, fair and objective evaluation of all claims.
  • 94 percent — for the company’s financial strength.
  • 93 percent — for the company’s positive corporate reputation.
  • 91 percent — for overall value.
