Colonial Life names Bill Deehan senior vice president of sales
COLUMBIA, S.C. (Oct. 23, 2013) – Colonial Life & Accident Insurance Company has named Bill Deehan senior vice president of sales. Deehan is responsible for leading sales and recruiting activities for the company’s 10,000-member national sales organization. His office is based in Atlanta.
Deehan has more than 28 years of sales and management experience in the employee benefits industry. He most recently served as vice president and managing director for Unum US’s South Region based in Atlanta and as field liaison to Unum’s voluntary benefits practice. He previously managed sales offices in Rochester, N.Y.; San Diego; and Washington, D.C. He and his teams have won numerous company sales awards in these markets.
Deehan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
