Colonial Life adds new enrollment capability with WeCare partnership
Online enrollment system helps brokers better serve small-market clients
COLUMBIA, S.C. (Sept. 29, 2016) — Employee benefit brokers can bring stronger enrollment solutions to their smaller clients — at no additional cost — through a new partnership between Colonial Life and WeCare®.
WeCare® is a user-friendly open enrollment and year-round benefits management system for core, voluntary and other employer-provided benefits. It supports all enrollment methods — benefits counselor-assisted, self-service or human resources-assisted — for both new hire and qualified life event enrollments. The system also can be customized for the special needs of smaller businesses, such as age-rated medical benefits.
The new partnership allows brokers to offer their clients Colonial Life’s voluntary insurance benefits, a comprehensive enrollment system and an ongoing benefits management system in one package. WeCare® integrates seamlessly with Colonial Life’s Harmony® enrollment platform through a single sign-on link, so data is exchanged accurately and securely between the two systems.

Employees can return to the WeCare® website at any time to see what benefits they signed up for during open enrollment, and the system delivers an electronic notification to the employer of benefit or data changes. Employers can view complete, real-time reports of the benefits program at any time.
