Employer Services
Colonial's Employer Services were created specifically to support you in your benefits administration and give you a simple way to expand your benefits offerings. See your Colonial representative to find out more about the following service options or complete the online information request form.

E-Services
These simple web-based billing services are free for active Colonial accounts and are conducted through our secure, members-only ColonialConnect for Plan AdministratorsSM web site. Colonial's E-Services include E-Bill, E-Bill Notification, Ez Billing and E-Pay. More information about how these services can simplify your Colonial account transactions can be found in the Plan Administrator Support section of this web site.

Core Benefits Communication
Colonial's core benefits communication and enrollment capabilities allow our representatives to communicate and/or enroll employer-sponsored and supplemental insurance benefits. Our representatives meet one-on-one with employees to communicate the benefits being offered, even those not offered by Colonial. We also offer personalized

employee benefits statements for businesses of all sizes. These benefits statements give your employees a snapshot of their employer-paid benefits, which can help them understand the value of their benefits program. Colonial's core benefits communication and benefits statements are available at no direct cost to you.

CCH HR Web Site
This handy reference tool provides regulatory and compliance information about a wide range of human resource topics such as FMLA, Social Security, HIPAA and Workers' Compensation. This service is available free of charge to active Colonial accounts and is available through the ColonialConnect for Plan AdministratorsSM web site.

Premium Only Plan Administration**
POP plans are an excellent way for employers to enhance their employee benefits package while reducing both employer and employee payroll taxes. Governed by certain provisions of Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, POP plans provide tax-exempt treatment of employee premium contributions to qualified benefits plans. A POP plan administration service can help ensure that your business complies with Section 125 with personalized plan documents, non-discrimination testing procedures and more.

Flexible Spending Accounts**
FSAs are another way to enhance your benefits program and help your employees save money. With FSAs, employees add pretax dollars to reimbursement accounts to help with the cost of qualified expenses. Colonial can also assist employers in selecting an

affordable flexible benefits service provider. The following types of FSA accounts are available.

Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts
With these accounts, employees can set aside pretax dollars to help with out-of-pocket expenses for dependent care that enables employees or their spouses to work. Examples include day care expenses, after-school expenses for children under 13, and care for an adult dependent incapable of self-care.

Medical Reimbursement Accounts
With these accounts, employees can set aside pretax dollars to help with out-of-pocket medical expenses not covered by insurance plans. Examples include dental, vision and health plan expenses. Flexible spending accounts also provide employees a way to pay higher

deductibles and coinsurance with pretax dollars.

**These services are not administered by Colonial. Colonial has arranged marketing alliances that may include preferred pricing with Ceridian Corporation (www.ceridian.com).
